It’s a fair question. Mooney Leather Goods is operated by a small team of just two people- sometimes referred to as the Mootchnett Conglomerate.

    The creative mind and calloused hands behind the Mooney Leather Goods product line.

    After 5+ years in various roles across the fine jewelry and watch industry from manufacturing to sales, I fell in love with the versatility and practicality of leather. Motivated by a strange mixture of inspirations, I love the bright colors of the South Side’s vibrant street fashion, the sprawling graffiti tunnels of my hometown Peoria, IL, and the refined silhouettes of luxury fashion. This strange taste, unique technical training, and attention to detail informs MLG’s distinct style.
